Happy New Year everyone!! Welcome to 2015!!!
Sketch #105 is up over at Let’s Capture Our Memories and we were asked to create a layout that was about resolutions, celebrations, or reflections – whatever the New Year meant to us.
Well, I’m really looking forward to this year because after about 3 years of struggling financially due to first my husband’s open heart surgery and then an illness that almost took his life, we are finally back on track and my husband is feeling great!! It was a long hard road, but we made it!!
Here’s the sketch we were asked to use. It’s by the super talented Isabelle Perreault Doucette – the owner of Let’s Capture Our Memories.
And here’s my interpretation:
The papers I used are Basic Grey and I purchased them in the LCOM store. The wooden veneer word is Heidi Swapp and the letters are a mix of Bella Blvd. and Jillibean Soup.
The die cut flowers are from the Fancy Pants “True Friend” collection and the wooden stars are from Creative Embellishments. Oh, and I added a little sticker clock from October Afternoon from one of their older collections – “Milk Money”.
